A Bereaved Mother's Fight on Mother's Day

Tomorrow is Mother's Day.

For many, many women it will be a day of mourning the gift that they've been denied.

All around them the world will be celebrating the one thing they desire most: motherhood.

Is it possible to celebrate with the world, while also mourning your own loss? I humbly submit to you that it is. In fact, I submit to you that this is exactly what we are called to as Christian women.

As sisters in Christ, we are called to celebrate with those who celebrate, while they, in turn are called to mourn with those who mourn. I've written an article over at the ERLC that I hope will bless you, as you suit up for the battle ahead. I would also love you remind you of this truth that I wrote about a couple years ago for The Gospel Coalition. God is so good, dear sisters. He loves you more than you can know.
